So apparently the custom is for people involved in yuletide to make recomendations to the community. I don't really know that I'm qualified to do that, as I generally just read a story and go "whee, neat" and, besides, most of what I'm reading has already been recommended for me.

But I'll make a list for my f-list, besides of course, the one written for me that I already linked to who probably aren't looking at that community and probably would like some of the stuff I like. I stuck with more obscure fandoms (I don't know, maybe it's just me, but Battlestar Galacitca, Angel, and Torchwood don't strike me as obscure) because that's where true joy lies. Lay. I don't know. Grammar.

So the Yuletide ficathon is over. Someone wrote me an amazing story from Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising sequence. Really really amazing. Go read it.

I'll link to my story after the first, when names go public. Of course I found a typo in it today when reading through it. Of course.

Because I accidentally finished my yuletide story yesterday (I thought the deadline was Friday, having just assumed that everything in my life was due on the same day, since Friday's when the bar application is due) I've now signed up for the Pinch Hit list and may write another story, if something I can write comes up.

Clearly I'm a glutton for punishment. Like I don't have enough on my plate. Seriously.

I keep saying seriously, and I want to stop. But I can't. Seriously.
