On Saturday night, Alexis and I decided to meet at a park partway between where she lives and where I live, because Sunday was going to be a beautiful day. We settled on Borderland State Park in Sharon. Seriously, I had no idea Sharon was that big. I think I've been three other times in my life: twice to visit my cousins before they moved to another town and once to see The X-Files movie. I'm not sure why we went to Sharon to see the movie, but there must have been a good reason.
Anyway, it was a beautiful day. We ended up walking for a lot longer than I thought we would, and I wasn't wearing the right shoes, so I ended the day with sore muscles and joints. Oh well. The exercise was good.
I got home in the evening and Jes, Sandy and I went to see Hot Fuzz. Best buddy cop movie I've seen in years. Those guys are seriously brilliant. It was a little slow up to the climax, but that only made the climax about twenty times better than it already was.
And now it's Monday and it's 80, but my room is the perfect temperature with a pleasant breeze coming in. I had a moment of panic when the mail man came today, but no bar results yet. I'm expecting them next week, but that doesn't stop my brain from having a quasi-irrational moment of anxiety.
