It took me about one hour and fifteen minutes to get 2.6 miles this afternoon. Because people turn into idiotic assholes in the snow. If the light is red, Mr. Lexus SUV, you don't go.
Things were helped by the police officer that kept shrugging and staring at the cars that drove by her, breaking the law.
I understand that the college freshman from Warm Places might be freaking out, but come on, people. It's not like we live somewhere that's not New England.
Anyway,
hhertzof mentioned taking pictures of the snow, so I thought I'd try out the snow setting on my new digital camera. Of course, it's past sundown, so it's dark, but I'm pretty happy with the quality otherwise. I think the light reflecting off the Do Not Enter signs helped make the snow pop. I'll take some more in the morning, when it's light but before most of it's been ruined by sand and car spewings.
