Yeah, so coming down from an alcohol buzz while watching South of Nowhere, whichn is the BIGGEST TEASE OF A TV SHOW SINCE XENA is immensely not as fun as watching it sober.

I spent six hours drinking with my friend Anna and her boyfriend Rob and then, later, two couples whose names I half remember. Anna is quite cool and she was a year ahead of me in school and we took classes together last year, and I haven't seen her since. I didn't even know she's in Boston, but it turns out that she's a law clerk in the place I'm applying to be a law clerk in. So, re-informed, I met her for drinks tonight.

And it was the first time in awhile I wasn't annoyed by coupling. And yet, there I was: the fifth wheel. (Actually, I think it ended up being seventh wheel, but whatever.) And it was okay and I had a nice time and I would do it again.

Then South of Nowhere killed my buzz. THERE BETTER BE KISSING BEFORE NEXT WEEK'S SEASON FINALE. That's all I have to say about that.

I agreed to walk Alexis' dog tomorrow, so I'm waking up quasi-earlyish to do that. And then meeting my mom for brunch. I was originally going to go home and hang out 'til Sunday, but now I don't feel like doing that.

Either way, sleep now! Wahoo.
