I signed up for chemistry.com, mostly to try out the test and see how that went, because I'm skeptical. I don't put much stock in online dating services, because most people usually aren't looking for someone like me. I hate to sound defeatist or cynical, but of the ten matches Chemistry gave me, two were looking for my body type. Those odds suck, no matter how many times my mom and my friends tell me I'm awesome just the way I am.

Anyway. The test was pretty spot on:

You have a great overview of reality. You see many angles to the same issue and enjoy discussing multiple solutions to complex problems. You like to use your imagination and engage in creative theorizing.

Of course none of my negative traits are there. I guess that's the stuff you find out on the second date (except for physical appearance and bad table manners...). I'm sure as hell not paying $50 a month (or $33 a month if I pay 6 months up front) for this stuff. I may be interested in ending my singlehood, but I'm still cheap.
