1) People who dress up to go to the gym. Seriously. There's this guy from the law school, whose name shall be with held even though I don't really like him, that I just saw in the gym. He's wearing these huge, thick, blue "track" pants, the sort the button down the side (some parts were unbuttoned, of course, because that is Cool), and two tight t-shirts. As of when I'd left, he'd been there longer than I had, and he still had yet to break a sweat. So either he's in really good shape, or... well, he sucks. I'll go with the latter. Then there's the girl in her teeny tiny shorts that are resting down around her hip, or possibly lower, and her teeny tiny tank top. Now, I'm a fan of the female form as much as the next woman-oriented person, but it's just... I mean... just get it over with and wear your underwear.
2) Guys whose boxers either a) show above their pants or b) stick out of their shorts at the bottom. Now, I get that there are low riding jeans and all. But then you can wear a shirt that covers your effing waste at least. Right? Right.
3) Administrative Law. What a mistake to take this class. I should've taken Patent, at least I'd be complaining about something I have a mild interest in. I appreciate that this is a "Bar Class," and that it's a really important part of American Jurisprudence, but I could learn all that in my BarBri review class that I'll be taking anyway next summer.
4) Bobby Flay. Sorry, I watched "Loss" again the other night. Just wanted to keep y'all on your collective toes.
5) Group projects. They're tearing us apart! (Simpsons reference, yo.) Honestly, though, I've got so little to contribute substantively... but at least I'm making up for it by doing editing work. Meanwhile a member of our group is mysteriously ill (okay, not mysteriously, but she's ill) and MIA, even though I swear I saw her in the period in which she's been sick (she also missed our big group meeting that, even thoug I contributed nothing, I sat through anyway). And then there's the clash of styles (or complete and utter lack of style) and personalities... and, in case I didn't mention it, group works suck.
6) Bjork.
And just because the Universe needs balance, I'll do 6 things I Love, or at least Like, or that at least make me happy.
1) My iPod. Thank Jeebus, or I'd have had to completely suffer at the hands of Au Bon Pain's hideous music. Honestly, it's like sometimes you're doing fine with a nice little jazz set, and then WHAM it's a muzak cover of Break on Through. I wish I were kidding. So I fix it by blasting my eclectic, random, and, above all else, decent music in my ears.
2) flickr. Awesome awesome photosite. Not only does it host pics (and if you go pro it's a decent value), but it's got groups and interestingness, and an easy interface, and comments, and notes, and I love it a lot.
3) The fact that I exercise now. It's sort of cool and, especially during finals, is a nice way to burn some steam and stuff. And I always feel so much better about myself when I'm done.
4) The weather today. It's beautiful and not too hot. Too bad about being stuck inside studying and writing. Still, nice weather.
5) The Red Soxes. I've got loge box tickets for Monday, which is quite possibly the worst time I could actually have tickets for, but I wouldn't dream about selling or trading them. No no. I'll need some Soxes between my finals.
6) Ridiculously expensive smoothies from Emac & Bolio's. They're really good. If I could refrain from sucking them down like a vacuum, they'd totally be worth $6.
