| Bio: | My name is Sam. I'm twenty-seven, have a fancy degree with a Latin name (juris doctorate) and absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do with the next (hopefully) sixty years of life. I got as far as "go to college" in my life plan, and the rest has been sort of flying by the seat of my pants. I'd like to be a space cowboy or, alternatively, the President of the United States, but I don't think that either of those options is particularly viable in this day and age. I would like very much to be an Important Person, but I'll settle for just being a Person, because I lack the motivation for importance. My politics skew sharply to the left, though I bet I'll surprise you from time to time, and my fandoms skew sharply towards the science fiction variety though, again, expect a few surprises. I'm a child of the 90s and a student of the future. I write, though not exceptionally well, and I play around in Photoshop, also not exceptionally well. Everything I need to know about life I learned from The Simpsons, and everything I need to know about myself I've learned from the internet. The best book that I have ever read is Ender's Game, followed by V for Vendetta. My favorite movie is Tron, though I'm willing to (grudgingly) admit that it's probably not the best movie ever. Stranger Than Fiction changed my life, but I'm not sure how yet. I'll let you know. I love Doctor Who a bit too much for my own good but, hey, I got a hug from Sophie Aldred out of it. I'm a lot funnier than this userinfo makes it seem. Really. I make people laugh on a regular basis. Mostly my mom, but she should count twice (as all moms should). - - - - This journal has recently gone friends only. Feel free to friend me, I'll probably friend you back. I'm horrible about replying to comments, but I read every one that someone leaves for me. Important: I ramble about the law a lot.
